John Morris Scientific is a well established successful family company which sells and services highly specialised scientific instrumentation across Australia, New Zealand and islands of the South West Pacific. We have an extensive market covering industries such as chemistry, biotechnology, environmental, industry and mining.

We have an exciting opportunity for a flexible part-time (3 days per week) Human Resources Manager to drive HR strategies throughout our Australian and NZ operations.

As part of the senior management team, you will work with key stakeholders providing a full range of HR advice and support. Your responsibilities will include:

• Advising, coaching and guiding managers on performance management, industrial and employee relations matters;
• Change management and structural design to support the strategic need of the company;
• End to end recruitment and selection;
• HR policy management and implementation;
• L&D analysis, coordination and management;
• Managing the salary review process; and
• Overseeing WHS.

To manage this role, the successful applicant will have tertiary qualifications in human resources, experience managing a stand-alone HR function of a medium-sized business and the ability to identify, recommend and communicate HR initiatives to support the needs of the business. We have an opportunity for a Territory Manager to join our WA team. The primary responsibility is to promote our well regarded product range to our customers where you will work closely with and be supported by the Field Sales Manager, Product Managers and Marketing, as well as by a locally based service and administration team. You will be successful by building customer relationships through understanding their business needs and offering tailored solutions.

To manage this role, the successful applicant will have a background in science or engineering. Prior sales experience (especially with capital equipment) is desirable, but if you have commercial expertise (e.g. in a laboratory management or purchasing environment) and are ready for a change, then your application will also be welcomed. The successful applicant will be rewarded with a highly competitive remuneration package which includes salary and car allowance and generous commissions are attainable.
