  Refrigeration Engineer - Scientific Instruments - Sydney Office


John Morris Scientific is a leader in the supply and service of scientific and process instrumentation.

Our Sydney service team requires a skilled refrigeration technician to install, repair and maintain our leading edge scientific instruments & products.

The position is based in Sydney although travel may be required to other Australian sites

This role is well suited for a very organized refrigeration professional, who enjoys responsibility and providing service solutions and excellent customer service.

We seek candidates who:
• Are fully qualified as a refrigeration mechanic.
• Posses a Restricted Electrical License
• Have diverse knowledge of refrigeration equipment
• Have strong fault finding and problem solving skills
• Have excellent communication skills to work and talk through technical issues
• Are able to work independently and within a team, always being proactive
• Highly computer literate
• Are prepared to travel in Australia and internationally
• Can relate to customers and seek challenges and variety in their work
• Looking to use their refrigeration skills on a variety of equipment and applications

Preferably you will also:
Maintain safe work practices in accordance with OH&S policy & procedures.
Had previous experience in a refrigeration technical role.
Have a Current Valid Drivers License

Product Manager  - Petroleum Testing Instruments  - Sydney Office

John Morris Scientific is a well established successful company which provides highly specialised scientific instrumentation across Australia and New Zealand. 

We have an extensive market covering industries such as chemistry, bio-technology, environmental, industry and mining who rely upon us to introduce novel technologies and ensure their current solutions operate to their optimum.

This position is a genuine solutions based Product Management role and is perfect for a candidate with extensive sales experience, a keen attention to detail, a hunger to understand complex concepts and a science or engineering background. 

The role involves significant travel and support of an extensive sales network as well as direct customer interaction. 

Before applying make sure you meet the following criteria:

· Technical background with experience in science or engineering - Petrochemistry a bonus  
· Ability to work autonomously and as a team member  
· An ability and desire to learn and be constantly challenged  
· Proficient with Microsoft related software

Detailed training on your product range and applications will be constantly provided.
