The Eureka Manta is a rugged, easy-to-use multiparameter monitoring sonde with highly customisable configurations. The sonde comes in 7 different sizes which can accommodate up to 13 sensors. With 24 available measurement parameters, a Manta configuration can be specified for practically any purpose. An optional handheld field display unit is available for spot checking or profiling, and the unit can be powered externally, or by using an optional battery pack for long term field deployment in remote locations. The Manta can also be connected via RS-232 or SDI-12 to Eureka's Eagle-Eye Telemetry system, or any other third-party system to provide real-time water-to-web monitoring.

The Manta 2 uses an advanced method of associating most of each sensor's circuitry with the sensor instead of elsewhere in the basic multiprobe's base unit. This architecture solves two of the most pernicious problems that have faced multiprobe users for decades. Firstly, you are not purchasing circuitry for sensors that you do not need as is the case with most multiprobes in the market, and secondly, troubleshooting is now simple and downtime reduced to a minimum.
